I like country life, nature, walks, good food and music. I play guitar and a little piano. I like to cook both for myself and friends. I have a quirky sense of humour. I’m an ex-smoker (quit totally in 2006). I take a keen interest in local, national and world news and use my iPad, PC and internet including “social media” quite extensively. I’m not a total “nerd” hopefully!
My (surviving) friends would probably say that I am a good friend who is a good listener and willing to help with problems wherever possible. My outlook on life varies from day to day……cup half full to half empty and all points in between.
I am a very tactile man with a lot of love to give to the right lady.

My ideal partner would be calm and a good conversationalist. Some drama would be fine otherwise life would be very mundane!
A relaxed attitude to life’s problems and ability to solve, discuss and/or compromise would be good.
As an ex smoker, I would not consider a relationship with a smoker.
