About her
I’ve been on my own for over four years and am now looking for companionship and an excuse to make an effort for someone special. Not looking for a full on deep and meaningful relationship from the get go, but to get chatting and become friends before moving too far forward too quickly.
I will swipe left if you are a smoker/vaper, have tattoos, or have a drink in hand in every photo, or if you’re not smiling, or live over 30 miles away, or if you have put nothing of substance in your profile. Just sayin’…
I enjoy scenic walks in the countryside or at the coast. I love all things nature, and enjoy taking photos. Favourite place in this country is Robin Hood’s Bay in North Yorks. Favourite holiday place is Menorca. I’m going on my first ever cruise next month.
I’m a member of a local (huge) Community Choir, and really enjoy that. My music preferences are most things really but definitely not opera or heavy metal.
I’m a member of Rotary International and fairly active in my own Club.
I retired from my career job as a family lawyer three years ago, but now have a part time job delivering flowers two days a week. This brings me all sorts of joy, every shift. I also do a few hours a week adminning for a financial consultant.
I want to become an interested gardener. I’ve only recently begun and have a selection of pots with all sorts in, and I’m looking forward to seeing my garden grow.
I’m rather unfit, my aches and pains remind me I’m getting old on a daily basis. But I do eat relatively healthily and try to go for a walk most days.
I’m not a book reader or a film buff. I watch soaps, dramas, quiz/game shows, gardening/travel shows.
I recently appeared on a quiz show on the telly, that was a good day out.
I’m as comfy at a ‘black tie and posh frock’ do, as I am slobbing in jeans and a tee shirt.

You like countryside/coast and scenic walks, but not long distance hiking! If you do, be prepared for me not to join you.
You are definitely not a smoker and definitely have no tattoos - both are dealbreakers for me!
