About her
I love going to live music concerts, theatre, or in fact going out? Would you come with me for a gentle walk on the fells and then back to have some food and a drink at a convenient pub. I don't go to a gym, just get my exercise sorting out my garden (which is designed but not finished), and looking after my grandchildren when I am needed. Mind I'm rather knackered the next day!
Travelling at home and abroad to see buildings, landscapes and cultures, has become a passion. I have been to South Africa on safari and seen the lions, giraffes, elephants, a crocodile and a leopard, and went from Chicago to New Orleans via Memphis. India was amazing and managed to see a tiger! Taj Mahal and Shimla were the highlights. Well Cuba was fun what with salsa, rum cocktails (but didn't get drunk thankfully) and the amazing buildings, cars and art!
Now retired I am thinking of starting to take up an artists brush again, (did some watercolour sketching in Cuba) last done at school! At the moment the blank paper stares back at me so maybe I need to go to a class where I have to paint! Went on a sculpture course but havn't finished it. When I have a moment I need to get on with it!

Do you like experiencing different cultures? I am a child of the 60's and 70's but down to earth and need someone to make me laugh when I get too serious? I seem to be the one who organises holidays for my school friends (yes I still see them) but it would be nice to find someone to organise me!
I do need time to get to know someone before I can relax as I have been hurt in the past.
