About her
Now retired from a successful professional career( educated to Master's level)/ raising a small family, I have more time to follow personal interests which include walking in the countryside, writing, exploring and photographing the natural world, reading, (non fiction) and improving my knowledge of European languages. I have written a few E books.I enjoy good food/ wine/ cooking/ homemaking in an uncluttered manner. I like dressing up and down as the occasion demands.I take care to maintain my fitness and appearance. I love contemporary architecture.I have taken a pride in developing and maintaining a large garden, ( with lots of mature trees) over several years. I am financially self sufficient.My political perspectives are multicultural and liberal, having worked professionally in many socio- economic contexts within the U.K.
Now legally separated, I am contemplating a longer term move overseas,( or was before Brexit!) but would prefer to do this with the encouragement and , at least, part- time companionship of an intelligent, tallish, sensual, fit, compatible ,man, for fun and companionship, possibly a longer term relationship, if mutual inspiration .I am aware , of course, that these things can take time to develop, and it would be good to exchange emails/ photos/telephone conversations prior to meeting a potential partner, if such an elusive commodity exists.
Domestically, I am a fairly quiet contemplative person, but enjoy good conversations & have long standing friends, dispersed globally, plus a good relationship with my family, who live in the USA.
II have a lot to offer the right man-fun, intimacy, constancy, if smitten. That doesn't happen very frequently though!
Postcript. I should add that I was diagnosed with cancer last year, and underwent treatment. Hopefully recovering.

My ideal match would be a tallish man, well educated, with international perspectives, intelligent, late sixties to late seventies, solvent, retired,fit, free of live-in family commitments- ( Is that all?), who is of a caring, sensual (?) disposition and enjoys similar interests- the natural world, comfortable travel, good food and wine, and who would be open to creating/ sharing a life with me/although with independent bases- for some of the time at least. It would be good to hope to aspire to building a close relationship .I value the attributes of loyalty,honesty and trust, which I would fully reciprocate, if committed. Having emerged, somewhat chastened, from the unanticipated demise of a relatively happy long term marriage, I am open to entering a new relationship, but would hope to meet a man who has similar values. Otherwise the relationship would not work, particularly at a distance.
